Tra Que is a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An, the village is famous for its sweet-scented and fresh vegetables that spice up on the daily meals of Hoi An people: Cao Lau and Quang noodles. Come here, you will have a chance to discover the art of cultivating and water plants, tasting and doing a cooking class with local dishes prepared by the friendly host.
Tra Que Village is a small village in the suburb of Hoi An, which is famous for supplying fresh vegetables and herbs to Hoi An‘s dishes such as Cao Lau and Quang noodles. Visiting Tra Que, you will have a chance to immerse yourself in the rustic lifestyle of local people, learn about cultivating, and Vietnamese herbs, taste, and join cooking with the friendly host family.

Full Itinerary
8:00 am: The guide picks you up at the hotel lobby and walk together to the bicycle rental shop.
Take a ride to a local farm in Tra Que Village. You will join the farmers in preparing the soil and fertilizing it with weeds from a local lake. Besides that, there are many more garden activities.
Spend the rest of the morning planting herbs and vegetables before having some rest and cook the lunch with your host family. Your lunch will include some of many local delicacies namely ”tam huu” spring roll and ‘banh xeo’ ( also called local pancake).
After lunch, you will have a short nap and wake up to harvest the vegetables.
13:00: Say goodbye to the hosts and ride the bicycle back to your hotel. On the way, you can visit the Japanese Tomb shortly.
You will arrive at your hotel around 14:00 and finish your Tra Que Village Half-Day Tour.
